Join us, for Devon’s sake

As a member, you have the choice. You don’t have to do anything: but we’ll have your back when a planning issue lands at your door, or over the garden fence, and we’ll keep you posted about how you are contributing to vital campaigns – and successes – in Devon and around the country. Or, if you’d like to help us campaign, run events, exhibit at shows or spread our message in the media, we will welcome you with open arms. 

As an independent charity, Devon CPRE relies solely on member subscriptions, donations and legacies. This is how we, our colleagues and predecessors have been able to continue acting as guardians of the English countryside for 100 years. We don’t have the privilege of standing up for birds, or bees, or bats or badgers; we have the task of standing up for the place where they – and we – all live.

Please consider becoming a member and helping us to protect Devon’s unique countryside for generations to come. You can join as an Individual, a Household or an Organisation such as a Town or Parish Council – many of Devon’s third-tier Councils have been enjoying membership for years, helping them to navigate the intricacies of the planning system.
