Planning Workshop for Town & Parish Councils. 20th May 2025

We are delighted to be organising another planning workshop on Tuesday 20th May 10am-1pm, at the Tiverton Hotel, Tiverton. The workshop is primarily for town and parish councils, but if any of our members would like to attend, please contact us for your free place.

If you sit on a town or parish council in Devon, then you need to know how to respond effectively to a planning application affecting your community.  How town and parish councils respond as consultees in the planning process can significantly influence the outcome.  What you say and how you say it can make a real difference to what the Local Planning Authority decides.

Experienced independent Planning Consultant, Jo Widdecombe, will guide you through the process and explain what is important.

We will also be looking at the new draft Planning & Infrastructure Bill, the progress of the English Devolution White Paper and its implications for local planning, and the impact of the forthcoming National Land Use Framework.

FREE admission for members and member organisations (up to 3 people free per member council); non members £20 per person, including refreshments.

To book your place please contact Penny on 01392 966737 or email director@cpredevon.org.uk
