The “March of Renewables” – Wind and Solar

The Western Morning News recently printed two Wind Turbine and Solar Farm Maps for Devon & Cornwall. These maps tell only part of the story. If you live in Torridge, North & West Devon you can see a more detailed map here. Even the South Hams, originally relatively free of Renewal Energy Projects, is now under increasing pressure. A new interactive map that will not only show you where these planning applications are but provide you with the details.

This map can be seen at http://turbine.dartmail.co.uk

These wind and solar facilities are not out of sight and, therefore, out of mind. They are very much “in your face” with profound effects on the local tourist economy and the landscapes that make Devon such a delight to live and work in and a magnet for visitors. Responding to these planning applications is no easy task
